So Saudi Arabia continues to use entertainment to paper over their catastrophic human rights record—thanks, WWE!—with the Riyadh Comedy Festival. Performers will include brave truth-tellers like Louis CK, Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart and Pete Davidson, who are weirdly willing to self-censor to comply with the Saudi Royal Family’s demands. Atsuko Okatsuka, who turned down an invitation to perform, posted some of those restrictions on Threads:
