day 22 of 100 days of positives

- i went to my local bar again to watch the World Cup Final and it was a good time!

- i met a guy and a girl there who were nice, especially the girl, she was so nice and interesting and chatty, she complimented my dress (!) and then showed me a COOL AF MAGIC TRICK with some playing cards that she just happened to be carrying in her bag, for occasions such as that i imagine!!! me and the guy went to the same undergrad school which was cool. idk i just freaking love meeting strangers like that and having moments of connection like that

- this was just a fun detail but a man i’d previously seen at that bar tried to subtly hit on me 🙈 i honestly am too scared to give a total stranger a chance and the vibes weren’t quite right but flattering ig!!!

- i just feel like i got hit on or looked at a few times in general and my whole thing rn IS that i wanna be young and fun and flirty in the city so…it’s been nice tbh

- you guessed it: i made it to the gym AGAIN and ive been looking more toned so that’s nice, i feel mostly quite good in my body at the moment (this changes regularly but still, it’s nice to be pleased)

also this isn’t a positive but just a detail i wanna share because hey nyc but there was a crazy lady at the bus stop i encountered otw there. and ive been eating raspberries against my better judgement

Day 21 of 100 Days of Positives

- I meditated and it made me feel better

- I read a little bit of Jane Eyre

- I worked out

- I cleaned the dishes that have been piled up in the sink for a hot minute

- I exercised

- I watched a Heidi Priebe video on YouTube about the “ick” and found it insightful as I navigate something I can’t stop thinking about right now, which is whether I made the right decision in turning someone down romantically. It’s kind of anxiety-inducing trying to navigate attraction, what makes or breaks it, and to what extent one should “give things a chance”, communicate, and work on things, vs just letting someone go and finding someone more suitable for you. I still feel regretful and doubtful about my choice unfortunately, so this was a step in the right direction of finding some clarity and peace.
