idk if this has been dicussed or not but one of my favorite details about matrix 4 is the fact that trinity has to want to take the red pill and get out of the matrix

i feel like in most action movies we see the character’s agency being taken from them so i was so impressed when this movie did the opposite. trinity needed to make her own decision in order to escape the matrix, like neo or anyone else couldn’t make that decision for her

i just love that this franchise is so big on self-determination and characters living their truths. its very gay and i love every single second of it
