Sometimes, I get sad when I think about how far Harry has come in regards to his queer identity and louis hasn’t made any strides at all :/
It’s important to distinguish feelings and fact when it comes to the timelines of both Louis and Harry. They’re in completely different places not only in their career but in their ability to have raw, personal expression.
Just because Louis hasn’t been able to strut around in rainbows or blur lines in his public persona doesn’t mean he hasn’t made strides in other, more subtle ways. With Louis, because of his past, you have to take into consideration how loud he’s been in HIS form of loud. With lyrics. With throwaway comments. With gestures. With interests. Louis isn’t going to be Harry or act like Harry when he’s able to interact with his community y they’re two separate people with separate journeys on how they want to embrace the community. So, please, remember this is only the beginning of Louis’ solo career. With the support from his community every night on tour, i hope the ease and sense of freedom allows him to feel like he can be as open as he wants with us and with his own personal boundaries going forward if he so chooses.
