This one im secretly smug about because I played a hand in selecting the sample...It was previously an entry to the Louis Den League 2009 and Jai got paired with a producer called DJ Kryptonite that week (hence the beat name) and was drawn a random sample from the pot I had...okay so I didn't handpick it haha..
But yeah, I think the beat gods visited Jaisu while this was made and beamed him off to an alien planet...with colours we've never seen before and air we couldn't possibly breathe...muhfuggin wonderous this is, my ears are smiling (is that even possible?)

This was a very quick remix I did for the latest Louisden challenge (which was to remix the Illmind produced track "The Headsplit" by Sonnyjim off his album The Psychonaut).
I'll probably update the tune in a couple of days as I can certainly fix some of the sloppy mixing now that I have the time.
Louisden challenge #87, mobster week. This time we had to sample a mafia movie/score/ost/docu, anything mafia related.
Seems there's a little background tone towards the later parts of the song, I probably missed to mute something when I live recorded it.
Also, if you listened to the Louisden stream the other evening, I've slowed the beat down a little bit compared to that one, and added some more live muting and things. Beat is still the same though.
My (late) entry to LouisDen #85 - Birthday Beats. I was finished in time, I just forgot to submit. Task was to make a tune with the song topping either the UK Top 40 or the US Billboard the week you were born. It's a pretty known song, and yes... I'm old. :)
Not my best beat by any means, but it was a rather hard challenge.
Done mixing down longer versions of three beats that's getting recorded on tomorrow, also put up the beat I did for louisden #83 on soundcloud where you had to sample a group from your town; so in my case that's Stockholm, Sweden. The group is a rather famous (at least here in Sweden) synth/punk/rock outfit. It was a very very fast thing, we're talking like 30-40 minutes and to be honest I'm not that fond of it, but it's been a while since I upped anything, so I felt I had to remedy that. I do have some others that could've gone up.. but those I'll keep to myself for the time being. Here's the tune..
