Dinner; 17.4.14 Dionysus Pizza restaurant, Lourdas Given that we were the only people in the entire establishment besides the owner's family, dinner at Dionysus was absolutely phenomenal. Gain, the service was friendly and welcoming, and language barriers weren't an issue. What we didn't know in Greek we were taught, and what wasn't known to them in English, we helped with. The pizza servings were generous and loaded with toppings (my own was piled with olives, peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes) to the point where we could only eat a few delicious slices. The wine was deep and dark, rich and slightly nutty, too. We were then surprised with a free dessert, because the owner enjoyed talking with us. I can honestly say I have never eaten anything like the honey-soaked, crystallised orange and genuine Greek yoghurt I had tonight. It was just amazing. Perfect. There are no proper words, just phenomenal. xoxo
