Round 4 — Duet Singing!

"Eeee! Can you believe it, Acey? We're in, like, first place! I told you dressing up as Jack and Elsa in the last round would, like, be a smart move!"
"Don't remind me. I'm still in shock."
"Of what? Us, like, winning the round, or us, like, being in first place?"
"Both."
"Hehe! So, what do you say we keep this, like, going in this round with our song?"
"Yeah, about that... are you sure this is the song you want us to sing? I doubt anyone has even heard of these guys before."
"Which is why it'll, like, be good for us! In these kind of competitions, everyone, like, expects you to pick a band or song that you, like, hear on the radio all the time. If you choose a song or band that only a few people have heard of though, it'll, like, be good with the judges, especially if you sing it really well."
"...Really?"
"Yup! Trust me. I've been in, like, hundreds of pageants and I see it, like, all the time."
"...Alright. I'll take your word for it."
"Hehe! So, are you, like, ready?"
"After you, babe."

It has somehow been a whole year since I fell in love with Kpop. A whole entire year. A year since my life changed for the better. A year since I discovered how much I could genuinely love something. A year since I found my world, my reason for being, my treasure, and everything in between. Not only has it been one year with Kpop for me today, but it has also been one year with Astro, my love beans, and one year with my sweet Binnie Bug. And even tho this has been one of my roughest years yet, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Not a day goes by that I don’t wonder how I would have made it through everything without my love for these boys and their music. They are truly a gift to me, and quite frankly the best gift I’ve ever received, nothing can top them and what they mean to me. Astro, my moon and my stars, thank you for being a part of my life, for molding me into a better person, for uncovering a strength in me I didn’t know I possessed, for being my reason to smile and laugh every day, for being a true blessing to me in multiple ways, and for everything I don’t have the words to describe. I found you when I was in one of my darkest times and you pulled me out, you bright light back to my world, you gave meaning back to me, you saved my life, and you’ve kept me going through all the ups and downs this year along the way. I owe everything to you and I’ll never have enough words to thank you. My baby boys, you’ll always have my heart in a way no other group ever will, you were my first and I will cherish you like no other for the rest of my days. Thank you, Astro, for being just what I need always. I love you more than words can describe.

So I was actually so devastated thinking that Binnie wouldn’t be back in time for my anniversary but he is and I’m seriously the happiest I’ve been in idek how long. And his birthday is tomorrow!! This is technically the second birthday I get to spend with him but this one has a whole new meaning to me. Last year, he was just a precious flower bud waiting to open, and this year he’s blooming radiantly! That’s cheesy, I don’t even care, I’m really happy right now! 💜💜💜💜💜💜
