Tom my beloved ridiculous boy-

1. I already texted you this but I do think he spends one summer working at a water park telling kids when to go down the slide!

2. There is at least one boy band music video where Tom can perfectly dance the choreography

3. He loves sour candy (and candy in general)

4. When playing a Mario game he plays as Toad or Yoshi

5. He tries to bring the phrase YOLO back

6. He owns a skateboard but can’t really do much on it

7. He cries whenever he sees a video of a solider coming home to their dog

8. He is more capable of being serious than people think and that frustrates him sometimes

9. He’s either weirdly good or totally horrible at accents

10. He will eventually have patchwork tattoos

I love when they expand on Thomas beyond his obsession with Alison, even if it’s brief. Like Fanny dancing around with him and just accepting it? It was so sweet. Thomas’ interactions with Kitty? Adorable. The whole episode explaining his death is one of my favourites because of that. 

Perhaps he’s more focused on Alison because other aspects of his character are really sad. He had to watch the woman he loved be with the cousin who betrayed him, he was so terrible at his profession that he made a fantasy in his head about how great he was. He is so ignored that he’s dramatic to receive attention, all the while he’s incredibly lonely at times. 

There’s so much Thomas hate and I get disliking his Alison obsession, but damn it’s relatable to feel so isolated from others that you make yourself dramatic to get attention only for it to make people dislike you more. And the fact that he tries so hard to make poetry only for it to be awful must be such a let down.

So I’m listening to the CKCPodcast Magicians feed. These nerds are fantastic.

They managed to get their fans to badger Arjun Gupta on Twitter, to come on the show.

He’s been on three times now, and just recently they had this long chat.

Now Jason, (one of the nerds doing this show) says to Arjun “I was really hoping to get to see you guys at NY ComicCon this year, so we could finally meet in person.”

And Arjun, being the sweetest human in the business, legit said “Why wait for ComicCon? Let’s just get dinner. When it’s safe, and we can actually sit across a table from each other.”

This sweet little shit basically said “Bitch, stop acting like a fan, we’re fucking friends now!”

And I think that’s beautiful.
