Ooh! For the native language thing, pet names? 😊
Omg jenna that’s so cute ok so in Serbian, we have different pet names than in English!
Maca (pronounced matsa) means cat/kitten, and it’s used incredibly often
For a child, Pile (pronounced pee-leh) means baby chick, and is really often used! Fun fact that’s been my unofficial nickname since I was a baby, and literally every family member except my cousins calls this. I don’t remember the last time any family member used my real name
Andjeo means angel, and though it is used, it’s not quite as often
Duša (pronounced doo-sha) means soul! So when you call someone by this petname, you’re essentially calling them your soul
Ljubav means my love, so that’s also similar to in English
Ok I can’t think of anymore, but I think that’s enough for now!! I hope this is what you wanted 🥺🥺
