My character from Xenoblade Chronicles X

At the request of @love410s I took some screenshots of my character from Xenoblade Chronicles X.

So, here he is in his regular armor. I change the actual armor a lot, although I always keep the scouter on. What can I say, I loved Dragon Ball Z as a kid. It does always tend to be alien armor though, since I was usually trying to get points for the alien armor developers.

Here’s a closeup of his face. I couldn’t get a good close up using the in-game camera, so I went into the character designer instead.

And here he is in more casual clothes. I guess he’s a little shy, haha.

hey. dont mean to look like a creeper but i read your tags. honestly the best way to improve is to draw from life. like take a small sketchbook everywhere and draw people and things you see. also figure drawing sessions help a lot so try to find some in your area. look up "griz and norm tuesday tips." their tumblr has some really great tips on drawing that i think are really helpful.

My heart literally just skipped about 5 beats right now. And you’re totally not looking like a creeper (I personally do that myself with my own art ^^u)

I mean, I used to carry a sketch book with me all the time, but since I started college, not so much… Although I blame the fact I don’t have a smaller one (I’d buy a new one but I’m broke T^T)

Honestly, I’ve been dying for some advice on what I can do to improve. Because right now, I know I suffer from a lot of the typical amateur setbacks, namely that of same face and I can’t seem to get my poses right, despite trying to put myself into some of them as best as I can (so I just end up reusing poses over and over again).

Thank you so much. You have no idea how much I appreciate the legit advice. The last bit of “advice” I got ended with a “your art looks sloppy and jagged” from the guy who was supposedly giving me said advice. I think you can tell how happy I am to get this advice with how much I can’t seem to shut up.
