"Grieve, and then love. Love and be loved."
Five years ago, I lost my father one month before my fifteenth birthday. In honor of his anniversary week, I wrote on the Love Always, Lexiss blog about the people who have helped me in the time he's been gone.
If there's anything I've learned about grief, it is to let yourself feel those emotions as much as possible. But, allow others to sit with you for a while, and help you understand them too.
