One Day, both the novel and Netflix adaptation, impacted my 2024. For the first time in five years, I felt truly seen in a piece of media, and I wasn't entirely sure whether to be happy or afraid. It challenged me with questions and I'm proud to call it one of my favorite pieces of media!

Everyone loves a slow-burn romance until they live it, and I believe that if the story ends with us, we will see each other again. But, until then, I hope my person takes care and experiences a life worth telling stories about because I will be doing the same.

On November 30th, I turned twenty!

When I would write my fanfiction stories online, every version of me was twenty. I never wrote farther than her twentieth birthday because I never envisioned myself reaching that age. But, I made it and wrote a whole blog post about it.

Ordinary can always wait a little longer and not being normal isn't so bad.

I've learned that your teen years come with a lot of mistakes. But, so will your twenties, and I am all for the ride.

Five years ago, I lost my father one month before my fifteenth birthday. In honor of his anniversary week, I wrote on the Love Always, Lexiss blog about the people who have helped me in the time he's been gone.

If there's anything I've learned about grief, it is to let yourself feel those emotions as much as possible. But, allow others to sit with you for a while, and help you understand them too.
