To begin with, I cannot find the words to describe how I feel about this book. I mean, Michael Thomas Ford’s “Last Summer” is the very first adult M/M Romance book I have ever enjoyed reading when I was a teenager, but I don’t know what to feel with this one. . This book is a roller coaster of highs and lows, but of the latter mostly. It tackles transphobia, gender expression and exploration, and personal identity. There was a little sprinkle of romance but not before near the end of the book. . Perhaps I expected this to focus more on the romance and fantasy part because both the title and synopsis is saying so; or perhaps I expected to feel the same emotions I felt whilst reading “Last Summer”; or perhaps I expected exciting and sparkling-like magick like in “Harry Potter” or a more mature kind of magick like in “The Magicians”; or perhaps I expected too much of this book . All in all, it was a good read, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes trans or queer inclusion. . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . 🇨🇦🍁 🤗 📕📙📒📗📘 🤗 🍁🇨🇦 . #LoveAndOtherCurses #MichaelThomasFord #TransAwareness #YoungAdultBook #YABook #YA #MaleMaleRomance #MMRomance #GayRomance #GayLove #homoromanticism #bibliophile #bibliochlor #BookLover #BookAddict #BookWorm #ILoveBooks #BooksAreBetter #BooksAreBest #BooksAreMyFriends #Bookstagram #NoFilter #NaturalBeauty #RaNtsOfAQueerGuy https://www.instagram.com/p/CAlkqgxnc_X/?igshid=yoya4hwdhwa9
