Valentina

In the spirit of my previous builds Amour and Keymount; my favorites, I thought to combine the setting of Keymount with the look of Amour to make this town known as Valentina.  This is on a new map I found a unique mountainous tower-like island. This settlement is built in a mix of Venetian, Art Deco, and vaguely Art Nouveau. The island is connected by two suspension bridges, one of an arch support, and a double half-arch tower bridge.

The main primary area of town spirals around the island digging within it a little at parts.  This island is topped by a palace or mansion if you will.  I am still deciding the future details.  I love using vivid colors, cute motifs, hearts, and anything delicate and feminine in my architecture because it can be so organic versus the purely geometric.

Bienvenue a la Ville D'amour! Welcome to the City of Love! This map features an art nouveau, baroque-style city, Valentine City (Or Amour... I need to come up with a name.)  The city is devoted to love, pink, Venus, and Cupid, and I have already finished the northern half of this city.  It is small yet I found a way to provide plenty of details. Heart motifs decorate the city-scape and the colors are light, bright, and romantic.  Overall the architecture is like Venetian, Baroque, and Art Nouveau together.  I will add more as time goes on.

The city is fed by three aqueducts formed from two to the north from lakes and mountain ice. The Aqua Hygieia (goddess of health and hygiene) to the north and west of the Palace for a bathhouse, the Aqua Vin (wine) to the east for the cafes and city; and finally the longest aqueduct is the Aqua Fiore (flower) feeding the farms outside the Star fort Valentine Town. There are select buildings and structures named after various deities, and because of this coupled with the fact that Valentine is the name of the city which also means health.  The deities are a mix of Greek and Roman with Venus, Aphrodite, Hygieia, and Flora for crops and the patrons are Pluto for crops, and Cupid for love.  The northern mountains are also named the Hygieia Mountains for being responsible for supplying the water for the city's baths and farmland (literally their health).
