I feel that the reason why the *writers* (let put the blame were really belongs...) made Marinette choose the Dragon rather than the Bee so she "commit a mistake to learn a lesson" (throwing Mari's character development backwards)... And the sad thing is that they could easily made Love Eater an akuma that *needed* the Dragon to be defeated, but Mari wonders if the Bee could be an alternative exactly to do not cut the Adrigami date... but forced by the akuma to do so...

There's a thing I want to ask you about, but I'm keeping forgetting about it when or I'm too lazy for that. At the beginning of Heart Hunter in scene in which Chat Noir lied that he has a girlfriend, Ladybug said 'I can't be in love with you' in the English dub. I heard that line is different in the original French version, that it's her typical 'I'm in love with another boy' or something similar. Is that true?

In French she says “I am not in love with you Chat Noir, I already told you.”
Another thing I’ve noticed is that the voices tones in French are somehow more “cheerful” than in English during this scene (especially when Ladybug says that she can’t love him/is not in love with him)? So I don’t know, they might have played on that too.
There’s also another big difference I just noticed by rewatching the two, but when Chat Noir leaves, he says:
English: “Yeah, I know that. But it still hurts.”
French: “Yeah yeah, I know that well. Well, bye/see you!”
So I feel like you have a sort of “light” and conversational mood in the French version while they went for a heavier one in English for some reasons 🤔
We all know the end of Loveater: Battle of the Miraculous is sad but adorable Lukanette. Luka is so concerned for Marinette, and she gives him good reason to be when she starts crying. But he notices something is wrong as soon as he pulls up on his bike, before she starts looking sad at all. She’s just standing in front of the park gate when he arrives, but he immediately asks her if she’s okay. (And most of us have probably had that moment where we could hold it together until someone asked that.)
Marinette clearly trusts him a lot, since she’s willing to break down in front of him and accept his comfort. Her house was literally right across the street; she could have just run away there when she started crying, but instead, she talked to Luka about her problems. And he didn’t hesitate to offer whatever comfort he could, even as her distress upset him in turn.
Look at that face (sorry for the blur; it’s a short shot). He was instantly deeply worried. He can hear her heartsong, and she sounds like she’s in such pain. He’s seen her sad before, but never this acute misery. She’s never broken down like this before.
He knows he can’t fix this for her, and he worries that he won’t be enough, but he’s going to try. This is a look of love and care, and it perfectly captures the moment when you’re hurting for someone because they’re hurting. This is an extremely intimate moment, and there’s a lot of trust and care here. And then he offers the best words of comfort he can, promising that she is free when she’s with him. He even lets his beloved guitar crash to the ground to hold her.
