💖 LET THEM KNOW YOU LOVE THEM 💖 Happy Valentine's Day! A day to show off some love to those who are the most beloved to you. Some people buy flowers, some others buy chocolates... But you know what? There are also something that deserves our love... Guess what it is? Yes, our garments! And what a better way to show them your love by mending them when they broke instead of throwing them away? This blue merino cardigan from @arketofficial is one of my favourites, but it got a nasty hole in my right sleeve, so I decided to mend it by embroidering something on top! That's how I came with the idea of those little hearts. Pro tip: while embroidering/filling a hole on knitwear, be sure to add on the inside a little interlining in order to fill the hole and not stretch the fabric to close it, since this can break or make the hole bigger while embroidering on top of it (sorry for the blurry picture, I realized about it too late but I hope you'll get the idea 😭).
