I’m sure I saw a Jeff Davis interview where someone asked about it, and he said it was a Dylan injury. I love this gif set :D

it still doesn’t say what exactly happened to dylan that caused the injury, but yeah it confirms they had to write it into the show, like i said.

Oh my god, I heard it all the time growing up - Quit rootchin’ you’ll break the chair, or she’s rootched herself to the other side of the room (story time was great, but sitting still and listening, not so much) My grandmother used to call it ants in your pants, cause she wasn’t in PA Dutch country.  Essentially its constant squirming when you shouldn’t be - like the inability for a kid to sit still in church.
