Sailing in the Hebridean Colours Seascape - Fiona Perry 35.5 cm x 37 cm x 2 cm In Fiona’s own words ....... “Sailing in the Hebridean Colours” is a large textile seascape consisting of layers of fabrics, mostly recycled, with additional sailing boats from sea pottery. The beach pebbles are printed from my own photograph. This seascape is influenced by the fantastic colours seen on the west coast of Scotland and around the Hebrides, from pale turquoise to deep indigo in the sea, along with the beautiful floral colours of the machair.
