February reads ➡️ Norwegian Wood - @harukimurakamiofficial || Love Is A Mixtape - @robbiesheff • • • Last year, I probably read about one book total in the madness of adjusting to all sorts of changes while struggling to stay grounded. This year so far I’ve read three (!) books, which is insanity. I was only supposed to read one, but I have a two hour commute each day, so I might as well take advantage when my mind isn’t calibrated for writing. These two books were recommended to me by someone I don’t know (lol, my friends understand), and they’re both books that are a little out of the ordinary for me. I don’t read as much nonfiction as I should or would like to, and Murakami was a wildly different style for me. If I stuck with what I knew, though, I’d be stuck where I was, and the point of this year is to drag myself forward by the hair if I have to. Life is short and it changes in the blink of an eye if not faster.
