“Ah, Megumi-chan! Come on in!” Tsubasa exclaimed, opening the door to her house to let her friend in. After everything that was going on in the blonde’s life, it was nice to just be a normal teenage girl doing things that a normal teenage girl would do. And today, she was going to have a sleepover!

“Thank you for accepting my invitation!” the blonde said when the other girl was inside. Also there to greet her was Bonnet, and a certain shiba inu. As far as Rina was concerned, Megumi was there to see her and not her owner. With a happy bark and a quickly wagging tail, the dog ran up to the visitor, begging to be pet.

“Don’t worry, Rina’s friendly!” Tsubasa felt she had to assure the other girl. “Now, is there anything you want to do first?”

"Seiji have you really never seen a horse before!? We need to get you out of the house more!"

“You’ve seen a horse, Megumi?” Seiji was surprised. How come his own childhood friend hadn’t told him this?! He felt betrayed. “Are they really as big as they are on television?”

“Megumi-chan... I know this is a strange question, but do you have any experience with those magical beings with gray faces?”

No matter how hard she tried, Tsubasa found she couldn’t take her mind off the gray-face’s spell and the fate that possibly awaited her. Over the past day, she’d been watching out for strangers offering her apples or just plain trying to kill her. She had no peace of mind. So, she tried to go to Megumi in hopes of having at least a little comfort.

“I encountered one the other day, and I feel so scared...”

Nikko, a about 14-year-old girl wandered around Pikarigaoka. She came here with some of her friends, who were having a hockey match somewhere around here. However, she also was excited to see the pastries of this place. While she was looking around in excitement, she noticed a girl with pink colored hair. 

“Heya!”, Nikko shouted happily as she approached the girl, “Are you from around here?”, she wondered, “Do you know where there are sweets shops, by any chance?”

There's a wild Megumi sneaking up behind Tsubasa. Wild Megumi used Hug Attack! "Tsubasa-chan~!! Happy International Hug Day!"

As much as the blonde loved hugs, surprise hugs from behind were... less than appreciated. She had a certain god to thank for completely ruining those for her.

“No!” screamed Tsubasa as she quickly got out of the embrace. The girl was so terrified that it took a few moments to fully register that it was just Megumi. “Sorry... Megumi-chan... sorry...”

What was supposed to be a friendly hug ended in tears.

“Happy happy Birthday, Tsubasa-chan~!” Megumi sings cheerfully, doing a twirl and holding up a rabbit plushie with a blue ribbon. She waves the plushie’s arm before handing it to her friend. “You like bunnies, right? I saw this one and it was so cute I had to get it, I hope you like it!”

“I do! Thank you, Megumi-chan!” Tsubasa said as she took the plushie into her arms and hugged it. Bonnet was currently on her shoulder, but the blonde hoped her fairy partner wouldn’t get jealous somehow. It was a ridiculous thought, but still!

“Do you want to spend the day with me? I got lots of cake and I can’t eat it all by myself!”

“Tsuabasa-chan!!” Megumi runs up and hugs her friend before holding out a long box. Inside is a poster she drew of Lovely, Princess, Honey, Fortune, and Swan with ‘Happiness Charge PreCure!’ written at the top. “Merry Christmas!”

“Megumi!” Tsubasa exclaimed, hugging her friend back. When she pulled away, she happily accepted the box, not wasting time in opening it. When she saw the poster, Tsubasa’s blue eyes practically sparkled. She was so hanging this up in her room at the nearest opportunity!

“Thank you so much!” She then took the opportunity to hold out a box of her own, containing a stuffed rabbit cosplaying as Cure Lovely. She’d found it in a store in her recent travels and immediately thought of her friend. “Merry Christmas to you as well!”
