Anyone remember when KiraKira Pretty Cure A La Mode aired back in 2017? And remember when they introduced a baby named Julio?
Anyone remember that?
Cuz that is the reason why I have not dropped Pretty Cure. And the reason I’ve once again fallen in love with the franchise.

Rio’s pale cheeks turned pink as he heard the girl call out. He slumped his arms back down by his sides. “Parachutes? I think I saw those on TV. These people jump from an airplane and they pull a cord that makes a white sheet pop out of a backpack. Then, then float down to a target on the ground.” He grinned widely and clapped his hands. “Boy, that sounds scary, but fun too.”
Nikko nodded happily, “Yeah yeah! Just like that. It’s like wooooshh!! through the air!! I’m sure watching the earth from above must be nice.”, she smiled, “Even humans can fly then”, and tilted her head.
Her eyes began to sparkle, “We should try it some time! Together!”
“Today Nikko saw a girl wearing cookies as earrings!! Why would you wear them when you can eat them?”

Nikko has just sat down in the grass as she suddenly felt something touching my head. She reached out with her hands and felt the blossoms of flowers. “Huh?”, she turned her head and suddenly smiled, “Pa-”, she swallowed her words, then started again, “Rio!, what surprise!”, she said happily.
Rio’s eyes twinkled like bright green stars as he smiled at the girl. “Do you like flowers, Nikko-chan?” He asked. “I do, my favorite are bluebells!”
Nikko nodded, her eyes were lightly sparkling, “I do !”, she called out happily as she got up a little, “Not sure if I have a favorite flower - I love them all after all!! But I sure love it when the butterflies land on top of their blossoms. It’s so easy to watch them then!”
“Bluebells are pretty flowers too!”, she said with a smile. Then suddenly began to giggle a little, “It always seems a bit like they are sad though, facing down all the time. If you could only make them happy, they would face the sun like other flowers!”
Rio tapped a finger to his chin in thought. “Butterflies, huh?” Then, he let out a warm chuckle. “I like butterflies. They always seem so free. I’ve always dreamed of what it might be like to soar through the air.” Of course, Rio was a fairy, but he couldn’t tell Nikko that.
The boy then spread out his arms, flapping them as if they were wings. “Yes, they do seem sad. Ciel-chan said that’s just how they grow, though.”
“Parachuting!” Nikko suddenly called out as she got a little closer to Rio. She pointed her hand to the sky, “Then you may not soar into the sky yourself but gently fall down!! It’s just so exciting! Bungee jumping too!”, she turned around and shook her head, “Aye, nono no, I’m extravagate“, she slightly giggled.
“That’s sad”. Nikko slightly sighed, but then smiled again, “Or maybe they just like the earth so much that they want to look at it every day! How about it?”
“Why is it that Halloween is approaching, but instead of Halloween stuff you can only buy Christmas stuff in the stores?”

Butterfly Carrot & Vanilla Cake, Ready to Serve!

“ Happy Birthday, Nikko-chan! I prepared this carrot cake with vanilla buttercream for you and I hope you like it. I’ll be always here for you whenever you need, darling! You can count on me for everything, I know how much Pikario can be stubborn sometimes… Have a nice day, my sweet little girl! ✰ ”
“Woah!!”, Nikko said in awe as she gazed at the cake. She should have known that Ciel would prepare something for her, but yet she didn’t think of it at all. “That’s amazing! You must have worked on it very long, huh??”, her eyes sparkled. For a second she wondered if carrots and vanilla would even taste good together, but... why bother thinking about it if you can just taste it?
“Thank you, Ciel!”, Nikko jumped and hugged Ciel, “I know you’re busy with your job and still try hard for your friends! You are amazing, Ciel!”
Mun has to announce that she has caught many Pikachus last week and now has a Pikario and a Candy!

Is there anything that you collect? Hobbies? Do you share with others what you do/make or is it not their business?
“Collect?”, Nikko blinked twice, thinking about the question, “Ah! Well I sometimes wished I could bring home all the butterflies I’m chasing day after day!! But Papa says I can’t capture them like that, so let them free again.”, she said with a happy smile, “Other than that I don’t collect things.”
“Nikorin’s favorite hobby is playing field hockey! But I’m not sure you can collect that. Even injuries disappear sometimes. My team mate takes a lot of pictures of us though! I guess that counts as collecting right?”, suddenly her eyes began to sparkle. She really liked to look at these images, they made her happy for some reason. “Ah well but these aren’t my pictures so that doesn’t count either, huh?”
Nikko slightly giggled a little. Then she scratched her cheek, “I sometimes do make sweets with my Papa. I’d love to share it with people, but we are usually alone...”, She looked up front again, “Maybe next time people can come over and we’ll eat it together!
" Ni-ko-rin!!!! " Kirarin sneaked into Nikorin's room while she was sleeping and jumped on her, waking her abruptly. " Happy birthday ~kira! Wake up, we have a lot of things to do today ~kira! "
Nikorin’s heart jumped a little when she was woken up by Kirarin - in a way that only Kirarin could do. “Ni~ko?”, she looked up in surprise, looking straight at Kirarin. “Nikorin is awake ~niko.”, Nikorin grinned happily. Today was her birthday! Of course it was, it’s not like she had forgotten it - she was looking forward to having fun with everyone after all.
“Kirarin!”, she called happily, “Thank you so much. Let’s have a lot of fun ~niko!!”
