It’s not enough to refrain from speaking judgement, insults and reflections of others’ faults and flaws. We must also have a mind that doesn’t think the type of things we wouldn’t say aloud. If we love God with all our mind we must love everyone with our minds as well. Having pure thoughts isn’t just about sex.

Which archaeological evidence is more compelling to you? The evidence for the OT or NT? (:

Oooh, good question but a hard one! I’d say it’s a combination, honestly. I mean the written eye-witness accounts are a huge factor, but I absolutely love things like the excavation of Jericho. Honestly, I couldn’t choose the Old verses the New. Both testaments are meant to go cohesively together, and I think seeing the culmination of evidence is really what persuades me the most.

Christians we must be more aware of when it’s time to speak on something and when isn’t. Either we use our voice intentionally to help, encourage, or love or else we just run our mouths. Barging into a conversation just to share our opinion. Only speak when and what God says. Only speak from his heart. Only speak if what you have to say is necessary, true, considerate and relevant.

If you struggle with guilt please know that God doesn’t want to talk about your mistakes every time you talk to him. After all his heart towards you is that of the father of the prodigal son. He wants you to tell him whats on your mind, how your day went, he wants to hear about that one seemingly insignificant thing that made you laugh hard today, whatever you’re passionate about, that skill you’ve sharpened and more.

Is there an argument against pantheism?

You bet! Pantheism is the belief that God is everything and everything is God.

From the very first verse in the Bible we see a definite distinction between creation and God, wherein Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” God is separate from that which He created.

1 Corinthians 8:4 says, “Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that ‘an idol has no real existence,’ and that 'there is no God but one.’” The book goes on to say in verse 6 that, “Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.” There was no substance to the idols being worshiped, they were carven images that had no being or remnant of a spirit in them. There is only one God, and the passage makes it clear that that idol has no part of God in it.

Creation exists by God’s design, through His will all things come into being, but creation is not God. There is one God, and He stands apart from the universe as the divine Creator.

If any man’s life were saved by another the joy and thankfulness that would fill his heart would be immeasurable.Dropping to his knees at the feet of this man. He would most likely pledge his life to him or earnestly ask what he could do for him in return. He even becomes a loyal friend of this life-saving man. We should have the same response to what Jesus did for us. He didn’t just save our lives. He saved our souls. This is where our joy comes from. This is why we can rejoice any day, in any situation. Even though we can never fully repay this is why we give thanks in all circumstances. This is why we’ve pledged our lives to Him. This is why we humbly worship Him.
