The sudden notion crashed down on her like a large wave, sweeping her up and dragging her out far into the sea. She felt herself flail in the cold water with a tremendous force she hadn't felt before, unsure if she was going to sink or swim as something trickled out from her eyes and clouded her vision. It wasn't until she finally came to her senses that she realized that she was not stranded in the ocean and the water that sprung from the corners of her eyes was not spray from the on-slaughter of waves, but tears of an overwhelming happiness that surged through her.
There, in the middle of the recreational room with the same nonchalant air that she always held, was one of the last people she'd expected to see in this doomed place.
It was such an unbelievable feat that Chiyo found herself rubbing her eyes furiously, trying to make sure that this wasn't just some illusion Fran had made up to coddle her growing homesickness. Or that this wasn't just some twisted dream her subconscious had made up in order to give her the faintest bit of hope that she'd found herself slipping away from over the past few days.
And when she'd finally managed to convince herself that this was the real thing, that she wasn't asleep -- the young assistant found herself racing full speed into the middle of the room and throwing her arms around her friend.
"Seooooooooo~" she cried out, feeling the corners of her eyes grow hot again as she latched onto Yuzuki Seo and bury herself into her jacket. Oh, she'd never imagined in her wildest dreams that she would of seen her again. And actually being able to be around her made her realize just how much she actually missed her and the world she used to know.
Chiyo found herself hiccuping against her better judgement as she tried to pull herself together, moving away for a split second only to slam herself right back against the choir club star.
"S-S-Seo..!! Is it really you?! I-I was so scared.. I never thought I'd see you again.. e-ever..!!"
