Favorite Disney movies? I just watched Mulan and The Emperor's New Groove this past week. Apparently I was deprived of Disney movies as a child.

Mulan is great! One of my favourites. I watched a bit of The Emperor’s New Groove 2 summers ago when I was baby-sitting this one kid and had forgotten that I actually liked it quite a bit. I hope you enjoy your late education in Disney :)

My hands-down favourite, if we’re talking classic Disney, has to be Robin Hood. I love the music, and the Robin Hood legend is one I like in basically any form. My brother & I practically wore out the VHS tape for that one when we were young. I’m also particularly fond of Lilo & Stitch, and I think Atlantis: The Lost Empire is pretty under-rated.

Hiya, I'm going to be attending medical school in the fall, and I already know I want to go into Family Medicine. I just had a question regarding FM residencies, and since you just finished interviewing at a bunch of places I'd figure you'd be able to help out a bit. Med school is super expensive, and I've heard a great deal about some FM residency programs paying back parts of student loans (any bit helps). I was wondering if you knew any more about this (amounts, contract, locations, etc).

Hmm, I've never heard of residency programs paying back loans (but if you know of any specifically, holla back, yo). Generally speaking, residency programs are not money trees since they get most of their funding from the gov'ment. 

However, there are lots of programs out there to help po' family doctors pay back loans. I wrote a post about the different options a while back, so check that out for links to several programs. My parents' neighbor is a hospital physician recruiter, and she always tells me that "anything can be negotiated." I'm broke as broke can be, believe me, and I took out the max amount of loans the government would give me, plus I go to a crazy expensive private school, plus I plan on being a poor missionary in the future, so I'm totally depending on these options to pan out. Paying back loans can be done.
