I've been chipping away at this commission for a few weeks now and I think I'm about finished! . I might add a bit more shadow under the mountain but I'm still at the stage of starring at it at great length to figure out what's missing. If something missing. . This illustration depicts Mannanan, the Celtic God of April. He is responsible for fog and wind, hense the misty tone to the main picture. I drew a Celtic knotwork inspired frame around the main image, incorporating flowers and meadow grasses as a nodd to the seasonal offerings left in his honour at Midsummer. . He is wearing his cloak of many colours, which brings with it changing weather, and is riding his magical horse, who can travel both on land and sea. . I used coffee, ink, colouring pencil, and Moon water (charged under the Pink Supermoon of April) 💚 Special thanks to @jojeffery2011 For asking me to create this. It was right up my street and my imagination thrived with this one. 💜 🖤 🌕 #manannan #celticart #paganart #april #supermoon #celticgod #loveroftheoldways #mountains #moonlight #moongoddess #coffeeart #moonart #horse #celticknotwork #natureart #moonwater #witchstyle #witchydecor #witchyvibes #moonwitch https://www.instagram.com/p/B_UygvQlNe-/?igshid=1ccml9fbqikfk
