Finally finished Doll Parts: A Lovesick Tale and I ought to tell you abt it!!
Luana girl your brain is amazing, I want to kiss it!!
4 chapters long, the comic manages to flesh out the story in a way it'll leave you thinking about it (+ points for not making it about her weird perpetrator, as many would do, and keeping the story real).
I especially hold this comic in my heart because of the way I was brought up and my own gore-porn addiction from when I was 12-15/16 (which recovery from was hard ugh). The way that the theme and feelings surrounding this addiction is portrayed is realistic and relatable to what I used to experience. Especially the "I want to be memorialized on gore sites" part- which also played a huge role in my life as a suicidal preteen-> earlier teen that was raised by a mother similar to the mother of the mc (minus the religious part).
Overall 10/10, would read again anytime and can't wait to read Lovesick!!!
