ok my hot country take is that kelsea ballerini deserves just as much mainstream success as kacey musgraves and i know kelsea is mainstream too but like whenever i talk about her people dont like adore her or always automatically know who she is like they do with kacey

oh i absolutely agree!! i’ve loved and supported kelsea for so long. not only is she an amazing singer and songwriter, but she’s also down to earth and hilarious and gorgeous. she is one of the best women in country right now and i wish she got the kind of name recognition and notoriety she deserved. tbh i think kacey gained hers from winning a grammy (she did win one right?) and having her music being kind of memed a lot and kelsea just hasn’t had that chance yet.
