𝗦𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝘀: 𝟭𝟱𝟬𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁! (𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝟮) 1500 posts on Instagram! What a journey this has been. We enjoyed every moment of connecting with fellow car enthusiasts and sharing our passion for our work. Your enthusiastic support and responses are what make this journey memorable. For our 1500th post, we thought we’d introspect a bit and look back on our journey to see what we’ve taken away. Perhaps our learning will help others in similar lines of work. So here are six things we have learnt from the industry so far: 𝟭.𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸: If you want to fix cars, you have to get your hands dirty. It seemed like a Herculean task once, but now, after years of toiling and sweating on the shop floor, we understand how much sheer manual labour has contributed to our singlemindedness and our level of comfort with machines. 𝟮.𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Modern cars are quite complex, and often the source of a problem is not obvious. But one thing we’ve found is that if we proceed methodically, scientifically, and with patience, we will inevitably get to the root of the problem and weed it out. This forms the basis of our attitude to problem-solving. 𝟯.𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝘀: Some days are overwhelming. There’s too much work, nothing is working out, and problems grow on top of problems. We have learnt to deal with such days with zen-like calm and focus. Instead of panicking, the best thing to do is take a deep breath, make a plan, and take everything in your stride. It will work out.
