#canitellyou #stopasianhate ‼️ This a photo of me and my Mom, the kindest and most selfless person I know. Before Covid she was lived alone in her apartment in Brooklyn and would take the subway everyday to meet up with her Tai Chi group in Chinatown. This was part of her routine and she looked forward to it. She hasn’t seen much of them since we took her out of her apartment to come stay with me outside the city. Recently, there has been an alarming rise in HATE crimes against Asians and most of the victims have been the elderly. She’s worried about her friends who all live in Chinatown. There’s the stereotype that Asians won’t make a fuss or speak up. Well, they’re wrong. We will not be silent. We must end these racist attacks! Please help me spread the word ( take screenshots of slides 2, 3, and 4 ), whether you’re Asian or not.
