Well I came back from the morning hunt to find Hershey in the throws of heatstroke. She was panting heavily, severe salivating, staggering, trying to splash water on herself, restless and her tongue was really red. I tried to cool her off with water but finally threw her in the truck at max A/C. I was lucky to get her temperature down but she threw up a seriously foul vomit all over the interior of my truck. I guess it is time for Hershey to retire.
