best friends for never

Is it only me or do other women have a hard time making really good girl friends? I can honestly say I have NEVER kept a best friend, and its never due to me. They always find the next best thing, and call me when things go wrong for them. I have always been good to all my friends going out of my way for them, and constantly doing anything I could to help them even if that meant waking up and driving to get the at 4 am. I just simply cannot keep or make a real best friend, and I have been in an AMAZING relationship for over 5 years. My boyfriend and I have never had any problems, so I cannot understand why I can keep a boyfriend but not a friend. Shouldn't it be easier to keep friends? I guess not for me.  I did recently think I made a good friend, but turned out I was just a good fill in once again until she moved her best friend who was living in Cali in with us. They basically forget I exist. I have finally come to conclusion not to allow people to run over me anymore. I have always been a agreeable person, and never really told people how I really felt whenever they did things I didn't like. Lately, though I want to blow up. I am so fed up with everything. Best friends, good friends, just friends I am totally done with all the back and forth crap. I have more fun with my man; who I can be honest with, then people I constantly let run over me in trade for friendship.
