What am I doing for Mental Health Day? Starting this blog where I can collect random things and post whatever I want without concern for what others think of me.
This will be my little slice of Heaven - the weird, shadowy corner behind God’s filing cabinet where the lost pens and paper clips and muffin wrappers go.
Even though we try to hide it, we're all just a bunch of weirdos that want to fit in.
Some of us pretend the weirdness isn't there to achieve social acceptance while others get ostracized for not following suit. In some cases, there's a kind of weirdness *is* the socially acceptable thing but not everyone has the same set of weird.
The funny thing about all of that is we then cling to people that embrace the weird because our brains seek it out. Despite the weird, unspoken social norm, the weirdest people are the happiest and most successful. I mean, a huge percent of large YouTubers were all bullied or outcast in school. All because their weird didn't fit the standard.
That's just a little something that's been on my mind recently so I made a thing about it. Honestly, it was just a really good excuse to paint a mustache on my face and dance badly.
Mission successful ೕ(•̀ᴗ•́)
