I sent a note to Lu's normal veterinary office to thank them for taking good care of him and informing them that the unfortunate circumstance wasn't related to any of his chronic conditions, and I thanked the vet assistants especially because he loved seeing them, and they MAILED ME A CARD and all wrote really sweet things in it 😭🧡
