Bad days: You feel sluggish getting up. You wake up confused, tired, and late. You struggle to rush and get ready for your daily responsibilities. Fun stuff. You get dropped off and smoke a few cigarettes before dragging yourself to work. You come into work unable to sell and miserable because your current mental and emotional states are slightly off. You listen as your manager speaks to you for a chat in before sending you to sell your ass off. It's retail. What can you really expect? Low pay and hard to get promoted. Only the finest job around. However, you need this job and the money so you work your hardest even for things that seem hopeless. Just to get that bi-weekly pay. Anyways as your day goes on and you start to work, you start to feel like a robot. Your body hasn't had enough sleep, but it turns into a machine just doing exactly what it was programmed to do. You act happy and excited because no other attitude is acceptable. These days are very bad days. They can be the worse days, but you survive them and live on no matter what. These days remind you of low times. Times where happiness is nowhere in sight, but you still go on with your day and survive until tomorrow. However, survival isn't always good for insomnia awaits you once you get home. Your work schedule and personal obligations cause you to fuck up your sleeping schedule and the thoughts you have at night crawl back into your head surrounding you with darkness around the room. Smarter to sleep with a light on, but the light bothers your eyes. So you stay awake. Until morning when your body has just had enough stress to fall asleep. This 2 hour nap leads into your next work day unless you are lucky and receive a good day. Good days are for another time though. I'm too lazy to type anymore things of bad days. I might curse myself with one. 😱
