Things haven’t been going great and the old man gives the same lame-ass speech night after night, so let’s try some smoke machines.
Let’s recap sad Trump’s Chesapeake, Virginia rally today:
He called POTUS Joe “Briden.” He doubled down on saying “Black jobs” and “Hispanic jobs.”
He thinks that an electric airplane would fall out of the sky if it wasn’t sunny out.
He creepily called a little boy in the audience “beautiful.”
He babbled about a whale.
He praised a fictional serial killer.
He called Chuck Schumer a “Palestinian.”
He rambled about boats sinking.
He said that North Korea, Russia, and China aren’t our enemies and that he’ll make them “do great.”
He denied climate change. He forgot how to say “Israel,” “allies,” “Norfolk,” and “landslide.”
He took credit for Obama’s legislation for veterans.
He said he lowered the price of insulin.
He called people in Seattle and Minneapolis “thugs.”
He repeatedly called J6ers “hostages.”
He fear mongered about nuclear war.
He said he won’t give money to any school with a vaccine mandate.
He confused John McGuire with Bob Good and called him “Bob McGuire” in two different parts of the speech.
He said we are a “failing nation.”
He said he’d keep suburban women safe…yet overturning Roe has put some of their lives in jeopardy.
He said he doesn’t need votes. Good. Don’t vote for him.
And of course…He lied…a lot.

The population of Ireland is far too complacent when it comes to politics. I see so many people crying out about life being hard on social media platforms, yet when politics is brought up, they want nothing to do with it. They want change and problems to be fixed, yet aren't willing to do the base minimum a citizen of a country should be doing. We need to increase voter turnout for every electoral activity. Nothing is going to fix the shitty government we have if people remain willfully ignorant.
Fears that the coronavirus and the weather would dampen the attendance helped postpone the New Hampshire re-election event.
Tropical Storm Fay was the excuse Trump gave for cancelling his rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Saturday night.
We called bullshit on that on Friday.
Fay dumped 2.33 inches of rain on NYC with some moderately heavy winds on Friday. Four hours after the worst of Fay, it was partly sunny again in the Big Apple. It was more like a short-lived summer equivalent of a nor’easter which most people took in stride. By the time the Trump rally was set to begin in Portsmouth, Fay was in Canada north of the St. Lawrence River and had been downgraded to a tropical depression.
The more likely reason the rally was cancelled, according to GOP sources, was the fear of another fiasco like Tulsa.
There were no signs of the typical throngs of supporters camped out days in advance for a good spot; the Republican governor said he would skip it, advising anyone at high risk to stay home over coronavirus concerns; fears of a repeat of Tulsa’s disappointing turnout weighed heavily; and then came the stormy weather reports, which could have further stifled attendance.
By the time the campaign announced that the Portsmouth event was off, citing “safety concerns” over a tropical storm barreling toward the Northeast on Friday afternoon, people close to the campaign said fears over low turnout also motivated the decision to scrap the event.
According to the National Weather Service, conditions at Portsmouth at 8 PM ET on Saturday were: TEMPERATURE 78° F - SKY Partly Cloudy - WIND S 13 MPH - BAROMETER 29:64↑ - HUMIDITY 78%. The last sign of rain had been at 4 AM on Saturday. Apart from being slightly breezy it was a fairly pleasant summer evening.
So in short, Trump decided it was better to be Lame Excuse Donny rather than Low Turnout Donny and the rally was “postponed”.

MEXICO CITY | Mexicans approve president-elect’s proposals in referendum
MEXICO CITY — Results released Monday show voters in Mexico approved all ten pet projects of President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador in a referendum questioned because of low turnout.

On Election Day in Cuyahoga County, voter turnout reached nearly 55 percent. In an average midterm election, turnouot is around 40 percent. While that's a good benchmark, the numbers aren't good everywhere. In one precinct, fewer than 6 percent of registered voters actually voted.
