Q: And what do you think this says about the IBU? Lowell: - I think it’s time for new leadership. I think we’ve been taken in the wrong direction, we need leaders that support clean sport, that defends clean sport.
[..] What we’ve seen now is the IBU not doing anything in the wake of what happened in Sochi, and they refuse to take a meaningful position on Russia. This is about all athletes, including russians. We all should be able to compete on a fair playing field. That’s the only fair thing to do, for americans, for russians, for czech, for everyone. We need to have clean and fair competition.
