ToV Characters Soulmate AU

Yuri has two. Flynn Scifo is scrawled in his surprisingly messy handwriting over Yuri’s Heart, and below it, in beautiful calligraphy, is the name Deucalion Pantarei Heurassein. They came in late, but Yuri was entirely unsurprised to see Flynn’s name, and after meeting Duke - that made sense too.

Estelle is another late bloomer. She doesn’t have one yet, but she likes the potential probably more than she’d like a mark anyway (it’s wonderful inspiration for writing, after all).

Karol’s came in early, which only added to his troubles. But Nan has his name too, in tiny, timid letters on her wrist, and what romanticism she can’t stomp out of her heart draws her to him.

Clint started a family without waiting for his soulmate. He finally met them on the battlefield during the great war - an Entelexeia, fighting to exterminate humanity. The Hunting Blades don’t recognize soulmates, predictably.

Rita found the name of her soulmate in a list of soldiers who died in the great war. She doesn’t let it bother her - a soulmate would just get in the way of her research, and it’s not like they ever even met. What kind of name is Damuron, anyway?

Raven’s used to be over his heart, but the letters are long since lost, along with the man who cherished and deserved them.

Judith has Ba’ul’s name in the language of the Entelexeia just barely hidden under her clothes. Ba’ul is considering asking Sylph how how Khroma turned into a Kritya, but Judith is content as things are - traveling the world with her most trusted friend.

Bonus:

Flynn has Yuri as well. He thought Yuri would bring it up if his ever came in. After the world is saved, he’s rather cross Yuri didn’t.

Duke has three. Elucifer’s name in the language of the Entelexeia, Yuri’s, which appears much later - and a third that has the audacity to take the place of the first, swirling and strange with magic. It takes Duke a long time to climb Ehmead Hill and meet the spirit of starlight that was once Elucifer - but he’s glad, when he does.
