Khornate Traitor-Guard Thragg Meme
I commissioned this to go with a story on the Thragg equivalent, front and centre there. But all the characters are actually people from stories in my comedic Khornate fanlore setting so you can see the full annotation of the image here.
The story is, incidentally, a bit of a soapbox for me to talk about what I think real Khornate evil should look like. I agree with PancreaseNoWork's critique that Chaos Lords in 40k are often a bit samey and I wanted to make Kidumesh something genuinely different. And I also wanted him to make a point that I often think is missing - the absolute worst mass murderer in the modern world is not some angry berserker, it's a chap who smiles and shakes hands and wins votes and sells arms. That latter guy has a bodycount on him that the former guy could only dream of. I think more Khornate warlords should be of that type, and so I had my Chaos Lord basically give a Sephiroth monologue spelling that out. Hope yinz enjoy!
