The leaves that made up for her hair looked like they were starting to wilt from the heat as she sat there under the tent she set up in the market place, tongue slightly lulling out of her mouth as sweat moistened her clothing.
The Half-Deku was the only woman on the caravan, and as such, it was up to her to buy and sell to the local Gerudo. She had brought plenty of water, some of her own hand-made wooden jewelry and toy weapons for kids, some of the caravan’s “exotic” clothing they had bought from different places in Hyrule, and, the prize of the collection, a very expensive supply of Nevermelt Ice, which she knew would fetch some pretty incredible prices to the natives.
She had gotten a couple of sales-- all of them involving the special ice, but it didn’t seem like many of the Gerudo were too interested in what she had for sale. Leaning back against the sandstone wall, she watched the passersby with mild interest until a large shadow came over her. She turned her head to look, and was surprised when she saw a man. How did he get past the guards, and weren’t all Gerudo supposed to be female?
“Hello sir,” she said, thinking it rude to try and ask a stranger about his business, “how are you today?”
