Album (preferably "debut release") Update 2

Happy New Years; Before I start, you can find the first Album update here if you're interested.

When I first embarked upon this endeavor to create an album I had no idea it would take me to where I am now. I planned to have produced a few tracks and unleash it before the world before I graduated. I guess one could say that I've changed in these past few months, and through being recently inspired by amazing albums such as Mister Lies' "Shadows", Gorillaz "Demon Days", Apparat's "Walls", and countless others, I really want to immerse myself in this process and come out the other end with an album and not simply a collection of songs.

Regarding the album itself, I think I've found the theme I want to express in my debut "album". This could take months or years to fully tease this out. My skills as a producer and songwriter have certainly improved but I want to see myself take my music further. Taking the necessary time on each track to get it to where I want it to go, is something lacking in most of my previous work.Between now and whenever this album will be completed I'll release an EP. So far, I have about 10+ promising songs/concepts in the works. (Upon completion) Some of these will get an independent release on an EP (most likely this year but this isn't a definite).

Don't be alarmed if it seems like I'm posting little music these days. I'm at the start of a long road and I can't wait to see where this shit will take me next.

TL;DR: album could take a few months or a whole year, EP will be released before that

Starbucks sent me a coupon for a free drink so I went yesterday and got a free drink*.  And they had these mini cupcakes.  And they were carrot cake.  And $1.50.  And I thought that was a rip-off but they were carrot cake and I was getting a free drink!  So I bought one! And then I walked across the parking lot to Jewel (grocery store, for those not around here).  I walk in the door and there is a big display of regular sized carrot cake cupcakes.  3 regular sized cupcakes for $1.99. "Whatever" I thought.  "I'm sure my mini cupcake is better." Let me tell you, my friends.  I don't know if those Jewel cupcakes were any good, but that Starbucks cupcake?  NOT GOOD.
