Guilty Tripping
Littlest Pet Shop's "Guilty Tripping" episode basically pissed me off. I know Pepper was in the wrong, but EVERYONE turned on her, EVERYONE. If they didn't do anything, they were worried about something insignificant (Zoe for example). Heck, the person she committed the wrong against was at least a better friend than everyone else, even though he does something really crazy at the end of the episode. You would think that after "Penny for Your Laughs", Penny-Ling would at LEAST encourage Pepper to apologize again, even though she already did at the beginning of the episode... but she didn't! It was "Penny for Your Laughs" all over again... except it's about Pepper and Vinnie, not Pepper and Penny-Ling... -_-'

Guilt Trip? How About Let’s Make Pepper feel horrible trip?
Yes, one of the recent episodes of Littlest Pet Shop really pissed me off. Anyone seen Guilt Tripping yet? I have, and that’s the same episode that made me so mad.
I know that Pepper was in the wrong because she DID use Vinnie’s lucky rock without his permission, but it’s how all the other pets went about it that bugs me.
Seriously, does Pepper have any real friends in that pet shop? I’m not kidding: everyone but Vinnie was basically acting like total dicks to Pepper. Hell, as much as I don’t care much for Penny-Ling’s development as a character, I was hoping that she would at least give Pepper some advice, due to past circumstances between them in a previous episode (Penny for Your Thoughts) where Pepper was also guilt-tripping and genuinely sorry.
Which leads me to wonder - why the hell did Vinnie ask for an apology when she made one at the beginning of the episode? To keep stupid suspense to the end? Pay attention to Guilt Tripping, and you’ll hear Pepper not only give the apology Vinnie asks for in the end, but how she really meant it.
What is Hasbro doing to Pepper? Why does Pepper have to go through this again when she learned her lesson with Penny-Ling? More importantly, what was Vinnie’s motive in the first place? Is Vinnie just genuinely stupid or was there something behind him making Pepper take that guilt trip?
I think Vinnie was just being genuinely stupid, but why is everyone against Pepper when she trips up? This is the second time her talent of comedy has gone too far and everyone takes the side of the “victim” - this case, being Vinnie. Everyone else’s talents except Pepper’s don’t get them into as much trouble as the skunk does.
You know what else I’ve concluded? Guilt Tripping is proof who Pepper’s real friends are. Giving someone a punishment is one thing - being a dick about it by not giving any advice (which they could have in Penny for Your Thoughts, but nooo... leave that to Blythe Baxter) is something completely different.
Thanks for nothing, LPS.
