Lovely Rhythm - Chapter Twelve

Chapter 12 "H-hey!" Graham said as he hugged Kelly when they saw each other. "H-hi, you ready?" Kelly asks. "Ready" Graham smiled. Jason knocked on the door as he came into their office, "Kel, I need you to work with Jill and Kate today. So Cory and I can overlook at what you've done so far for Graham's album" he informed. "Are they here?" she asks. "They're waiting for you in the recording studio" Jason told as he left. "I'll walk you, since Cory isn't here yet" Graham said. Kelly nodded, "Last night was fun and funny. Thanks for the ride, I never got to thank you when you I rushed off your car" Graham laughed, "We're not suppose to do what we did last night, but it was great" Kelly looked at him, "Yeah it was. Um, just wait for Cory here with me... I'm sure he'll be fine with it" They both entered the recording studio where there was two blondes waiting for them, sitting on the couch. The other blonde had a guitar with her and the other one was composing a song ok her notebook. Kelly and the two women introduced each other, "This is Graham" Kelly introduced. "I just saw Cory. I'll see you in a while" Graham gave Kelly a peck on the cheek, "Nice meeting you ladies" "How sweet, how long have you two been together?" Kate asked. Kelly blushed, "Who? Graham? He's not my boyfriend, he's my friend" she clarified. "Oh! I thought he was your boyfriend or something. The way you two were looking at each other, your eyes both lit up" Kate noticed. Jill nodded, "And you don't really give your guy friends a peck on the cheek or the other way around, you usually just say bye or see you later. But wait aren't you Cory's roommate too?" Kelly nodded, "Yeah" she looked at Kate and saw envy in her eyes, "Kate, don't worry. We're just really great friends and he's still in love with you" she said. Kate was shocked, "I'm sorry. I can't help but feel jealous that he's living with a woman. Girl, you are pretty and that adds more worry" "Umm.. don't worry. Graham and I are patching things up. You and I are going through similar problems right now, Kate" Kelly confessed. "What happened with you two?" Kate asked. Kelly explained everything that happened between her and Graham, "We're friends, for now. I still don't know what will happen since we.. umm.. kissed last night" Jill's jaw dropped, "W-what? Kelly, you two are meant to be! And you, Katie! I know you still love Cory, why do you think I pretended to be sick for a couple of days?" "You pretended?" Kate asked. Jill nodded, "You two make my brain hurt. You both still love the man you loved a few years ago. What's stopping the both of you?" Kelly and Kate looked at each other then at Jill, "We're suppose to be working! Get in the booth you two, we'll talk about this another time" Kelly reminded. ■■■■ "Cory, I kissed her. Well we kissed" Graham told with a huge smile on his face. "I stayed at Kate's. We talked and talked. Like when we were together. What do I do?" Cory asks. "You two know what to do. Don't be stupid the second time around. I'm happily married, yes we fight and argue but that's a part of it. You both love them, get a ring and ask her to marry you" Jason advised bluntly as he continued looking over the computer. Cory and Graham was quiet, thinking of better ways to get the woman they love back in their lives, permanently.
