I complained about that ticket debacle. I did a screen shot were my tickets were processing and then their server crashed. If I hadn't made it that far I would have shit the fuck up and chalked it up to
I got through to input info and hit submit too and got nothing but a white screen but like......this literally happens for any fandom trying to get a small number of tickets with thousands of people trying to get in. People on twitter said they had the page open on three different devices, too, and still wonder how the site crashed? Probably because hundreds of people were using the same address on every device they owned at the same time! This happens every time a fandom has a ticketed exclusive event like this, no matter what website they use, there are going to be problems.
They owed us nothing. It’s a free event for EW subscribers. It was a perk. They said the seats were filled and people got emails the following day confirming. That happens a lot. Look at Nerd HQ tickets, people having the tickets in their cart and then disappearing, SDCC tickets, Funko Fundays tickets, literally name an exclusive thing youve ever tried to get tickets for and you’ll see dozens of people complaining about the website crashing, problems, errors, etc.

Some people were lucky and some weren’t. That’s how it always goes. I hit ‘request my seats’ with my info put in a dozen times to no avail. Didn’t work. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ No need to berate Starz or EW over it. No point in complaining or screenshotting how far you got in the process to prove you were right there, because you were right there but you weren’t lucky enough to get through like others, so you didn’t get tickets. That happened to what seems like hundreds of other people, too. That’s how it works. The thing sold out. EW tweeted and said it was sold out. People still expected more than that? What else needs to be said?
