Introducing Lt. Dian of the Royal Guard, as seen in the MOTU newspaper strip story 'At The Edge Of The Darkest Night". As mentioned by Adam and Clamp Champ, she first appears as a newly-passed Guard in the earlier story "When You Need An Extra Something", where Evil-lyn uses the power of Eternia's TV to promote her cosmetic products (Yes, that actually happened).
Given her first command at a mining outpost in the middle of nowhere, she initially seems disrespectful and arrogant. As the story progresses, we find a junior officer at the end of her rope, trying to keep her people alive in a base that is basically a cardboard deathtrap, being attacked by Skeletor's minions.
