I wanted to see if I could capture the energy of those types of games in a comic. It went off the rails almost immediately, but you’ll have to WAIT AND SEE!!

i must know: what IS an astral pouch?

the astral pouch is an item from okami!! :> it’s a small bag of sorts that ammy (the celestial doggod that serves as the game’s protag) acquires in the tutorial area and keeps for the rest of the game. in short, eating food (which u can find just about anywhere) fills the astral pouch’s gauge, and when the gauge is full, it can revive ammy if she dies :> oh, and once you ate enough food to fill the astral pouch, it converts all excess food into money instead (god i wish that were me). basically it’s a super practical item that i’d also love to have in real life!! i love the astral pouch :>
