Wolffe and Nightbreaker for the bean meme
How do they have a bean? (Include your headcanons!)
Nightbreaker is slow to fall for anyone, but when he does, he falls hard. Which is probably what happened with Wolffe. Night had always acted more aloof around him, until he realized how he felt, and his whole demeanor seemed to shift on it’s head. He started flirting, and playfully teasing, the younger mech, hoping he got the hint. Even when they started dating, however, it took a while for Night to be close enough to him to sleep with him, and even longer to have a sparkling with him. Though, once he was ready, he would have preferred to have Wolffe be the carrier.
Would they have one bean or more than one bean? If more, how many?
There might not have been room for more than one bean on Night’s ship, though that wouldn’t really be an issue to him. If he had to, he would work harder at taking in bounties to be able to afford at least a few upgrades for the ship. He’s always wanted at least three beans, enough to make a Trine, so he may ask Wolffe for that many.
What’s the bean’s shape? Size?
One would probably look like an oval. This one would be the largest, though still not too large. The next one would look like a sphere, with another smaller sphere on top of that one. This one would be the smallest, though not necessarily the youngest. The third one would look like a sphere when active, but when not active it often turns into a puddle, like ketchup on a plate. This one was somewhere in between the size of the first and second ones.
Is their bean an exceptionally cuddly squishy blob or no?
It’s likely that all three are cuddly blobs, and crave the attention of their creators.
Does their bean have basic protoform appendages (chevron, finials, wings, etc.) forming yet?
Possibly the oldest one does, maybe a set of wings, wolf-ear-like finials, maybe even some arm and leg nubs too.
Is much is their bean dependent on them?
The youngest one definitely is, and is more of a carrier’s bean than the others, always latched on to his leg if it’s not being carried.
Who does the bean take after more physically?
The biggest bean takes after Night more, the smallest one looks more like Wolffe, and the middle one looks to have nearly the same amount of features from both of them.
Personality-wise, who is the bean more like?
The beans generally seem to take after Wolffe more, considering Night is often busy tracking a bounty. Though whenever he takes some time off, and spends some time with the beans, they start to take more of his personality and character traits.
How does their bean interact with other grown mechs?
Often they act just like Night around strangers, aloof and distant, though with family friends they tend to enjoy the company, and are very talkative.
How does their bean interact with other protoforms?
The beans get so fascinated whenever they see other protoforms, and absolutely have to investigate, either by pokes or by sniffing. One way or another, they’ll learn everything they need to know about the other beans.
What sounds does their bean make? Are they quiet, make low booping, high beepings, or are they a wee lil screecher?
The biggest one is the quietest, in terms of talkative beans. The smallest one makes higher pitched beeping, but still not to ear-splitting. Surprisingly, it’s the middle one that screeches. If that one tried hard enough it could probably crack glass.
How does their bean move about?
The biggest one, due to it’s shape, tends to roll around before it gets arms or legs. The smallest one bounces from place to place, and flaps it’s little wings, if it develops a set. The middle one… doesn’t move much. It just sits there and melts into a bean puddle.
Where and how often does their bean like to snooze?
Whenever they’re put down for a nap or bedtime in their cribs, somehow they all, even the melty one, manage to escape and go to the berth to snuggle up in between their creators. It’s always a surprise to find them there in the morning, but if that’s what the beans have to do to sleep, then that’s what they have to do to sleep.
