Frustrated with the way her daughter's school was run, Michele P. Brooks set out to be part of the solution. Brooks, now the Assistant Superintendent in the Office of Family and Student Engagement at Boston Public Schools, was recognized by Education Week as a 2013 Leader to Learn From for her work with engaging parents and families.
