Bas was definitively a fan of Chris sleeping over. He really enjoyed waking up next to his boyfriend and how calming his presence was. It had been a very long time since he had been in a relationship like this and it only reassured him that wanted to settle down one day and start his own family. And right now things with Chris seemed very promising.

He hummed with his eyes still closed when he felt Chris’ fingers caresisng his scalp and then his face. He moved his hand to place it on the small of his boyfriend’s back to press him closer to him, “why are you watching me sleep? stalker…” he murmured with deep in sleep voice, “what time is it? you said we were sleeping in beaus it was my day off.”

Chris giggled at the view, bumping their noses together, enjoying the closeness “I’m pretty sure Alice watches Jasper, so why wouldn’t I get to?” he joked, blushing slightly “You were snoring, I was checking your vitals” the wolf lied with a shrug. “Did you sleep well?”

The wolf shifted, settling himself on top of his boyfriend, nuzzling his neck for a moment as he spoke. Maybe he was scenting him, Chris didn’t notice. “It’s just past eight, still early. You should go back to sleep” he hummed, pecking his lips “You deserve some more sleep.”

Starter for Sebastian. 

Just because Lucas has decided to live among the mundane, didn’t mean he has lost his cautiousness and instinct as a Shadow Hunter. He could see it, the layers of veils that disguised the true face of the woman. The woman who brought her dying husband into the hospital, crying and begging the doctors and nurses to save her lover.

Anyone would be moved by the desperation of the woman, But Lucas could not ignore the dark cloud behind those tearing eyes. He took a sharp breath, hands folded into fists unconsciously. There was nothing he could do, not in public. He forced himself to remove his gaze, shifted his focus back into the case in hands. He reminded himself that he was no longer a Shadow Hunter. But perhaps...He shook his head, tried to remove the thoughts in his head and focused on work.

Still, it didn’t feel right.

Lucas ended his shift with the unsettled feeling lingered behind his chest. Headed toward his apartment by foot, the street was quiet after mid-night. Suddenly, Lucas stopped. He could sense it, the dark presence behind him.

“Doctor,” The voice of the woman raised behind him, “Call it a hunch...But you seem to be suspicious when you saw me brought my dear husband into the hospital...”

Lucas turned and stared at the woman, who walked to him with a strange smile on her face. The moonlight dragged her shadow to a long length, which reflected more than the body she chooses to wear.

“You will never suspect my husband’s death has anything to do with...me, right?” She asked, corner of his lips curled up so greatly it was unnatural. “Right? Right? RIGHT?” Her voice turned inhuman, filled with hatred.

Lucas didn’t reply, his hand quickly reached to his back, ready to draw out the seraph blade he hid behind his back. But his eyes caught something else, a shadow lurking behind the creature...

If Chris was shit at geography before, when he had access to a gps and his wolf nose, now he was just awful. Somehow, he got lost from his group in that afternoon, so he did his best not to panic. He knew where he was, just in the outskirts of the city now, he just couldn’t remember where the camp was. He kept telling himself he was going to be fine, though. So it was fine. 

He had a gun now, stolen from a corpse he found on the ground, and a couple of packets of bullets. Did he still feel sick when he thought about it? Yes. Did he know how to shoot? Nope. But he’d die trying.

He was doing his best to be quiet while scavanging an apartment building. Everything was broken and torn apart, but he was sure he could find some food in one of the houses. The night was falling when he heard the noise from someone going up the stairs. He turned around on the corridor, shaking, and aimed the gun “W-Who’s there?”

He should've called. In a normal setting he would have, and in hind sight he probably should, if his last spontaneous visit to Jason was anything to go by, but still Chris couldn't help it. So maybe his feet had taken him to Sebastian's neighborhood when he went on a walk by the beach that morning. Maybe he only noticed where he was when he was two blocks away. Maybe it was all planned since he woke up feeling like he should visit the hunter. Either way, he found himself knocking on his door with a smile.

Since he discovered that he could still fall asleep like a normal person with decaf, and that the decaf options on the coffee shop down his street were actually really good, Chris had made it a habit out of going for a short run in the morning before stopping for coffee while he checked his emails.

No, he wans’t a responsible adult with healthy habits, shut up.

He also had used those opportunities to train his senses, straining his ears to see just how far someone could be while still on his hearing radius, or trying to pick up notes in their scent to figure out if any of them were not human. That morning there was a man who caught his attention.

The man smelled human, but there was something on it that didn’t sit right. He smelled like gunpowder, something citrusy like oranges and something bitter. Was it a flower? He couldn’t figure it out, maybe he didn’t know that smell at all. He watched the man get his coffee and walk around the shop, frowning as the gears turned in his head.

Then his eyes met and Chris’ cheeks turned red right away.

Chris: you're tall, i get to be strong one, it's fair

He had pretty light sleep, Chris blamed it on the wolf ears, but he didn’t mind it so much when he slept next Sebastian. Not when he woke up to his stupidly handsome face all relaxed and drooly. Fuck, he really did love that stupid hunter, didn’t he? Quietly propping onto his elbow, the wolf watched him, laughing with himself at how stalkerish that could be. So maybe he got the Edward Cullen thing now.

His expert eyes caught the tiniest twitch in Sebastian’s face, and he reached to gently push the offending strand away from his handsome face, letting his fingers linger softly against his scalp. Fingertips traced the curves of his jawline, enjoying how the trimmed beard scratched his skin. He could see his boyfriend stirring awake now and a stupid smile took over his face at the sight as the wolf reached to place the softest of kisses on his nose. “Morning, Sleepy” Followed by another peck, this time on his chin “Welcome to the land of the living”
