I've had a fic in mind for a while but never set to work on it for...reasons...
The title would be "Hey Ezlo" and it follows Four through childhood learning under Ezlo's guidance and generally just going through some of the stuff kids deal with while growing up. Mentor protégé stuff, you know? Each part of the story would be Four asking Ezlo a question and eventually learning the answer. I think the final bit would be Four trying to ask Ezlo a question, only to realize Ezlo isn't there to help anymore. He keeps going to ask him, but then remembering that Ezlo isn't there.
Maybe the story would end with Four sitting miserable and wishing to see Ezlo again, but I also have a fluffyish ending in mind. IDK if I'll ever get to writing this, but I hope to at least.
