- I headcanon that four is on the Aromantic spectrum? Demiromantic specifically. He doesn’t fall for people unless he has a very strong and deep bond with them, but even then it’s incredibly rare.
- He just isn’t the romantic type usually. The guy has had maybe one long term relationship his whole life.
- Idk who that would’ve been with but yknow doesn’t matter.
- The Minish in him makes him incredibly possessive of whoever he does fall in love with.
- Also because he’s got four other personalities living in his body so that’s like 4x the amount of love he feels for a person.
- It starts after he’s formed a deep bond with you, you’re basically best friends.
- Then he starts finding himself getting..weird about you.
- All he wants is to be by you. Holding your hand, brushing shoulders, hugs, it all feels like bolts of electricity.
- He can’t stop thinking about you either. Your smile, your hair, your eyes, clothes, corny jokes, snarky comments, the empathy in your eyes. He can’t stop. It doesn’t stop.
- He fell SO hard. It’s embarrassing. He can’t stop fumbling around you like a dumbass, embarrassing him and every voice in his head.
- Will start making you wear things of his. Maybe it’ll start with you wearing a shawl he has when it gets cold, his socks when your’s get wet in a river, or one of his shirts when you find all of your’s too dirty to sleep in.
- His pupils get visibly wider when he sees you wearing anything he owns. It makes this man light up like a fire arrow.
- He gifts you jewelry a lot, homemade Minish jewelry. Doesn’t matter what gender you are, you’ll get something beautiful to wear.
- It’s kind of a symbol that you’re taken, even if he hasn’t asked you out yet.
- You don’t need to know that..
- He gets all the advice he feels he needs from Twilight.
- Twilight is the best choice because Legend is emotionally unavailable, Wind is a baby, Sky would give him some poor puppy love advice, Warrior’s love life is a mess, Ravio is with Legend and he doesn’t know how it happened, Time would give some cryptic dad advice that would be helpful in maybe thirty years, Hyrule has never dated a soul, and Wild is a rat man.
- So yeah. Twilight is the best bet. He’s got older brother energy and even though he may tease, he’ll give Four the advice he needs to make his relationship with you work.
- Four confesses after dinner one evening while the chain rests at a local inn. (At the advice of Twilight, since he knew you two would have some alone time)
- You and him sitting at the dining table, the last two still eating Wild’s boar stew.
- He hesitantly stumbled over his words and told you how he felt, eyes glued to the cold stew in front of him.
- You stumbled over your own words, telling him you felt the same.
- You both shared a flustered smile across the table, too new to the relationship to do much more than that.
- He takes you on dates when you guys aren’t too busy figuring out your odd situation.
- Simple dates. Dinner, walks, window shopping, etc.
- Considers you two sitting in a forge talking and bantering while he works a date.
- Is he wrong though? Nah.
- Is against shrinking you down into a Minish because he doesn’t know how it would affect you.
- Will if you beg and prod at him enough, but is very cautious.
- Walks with you through the grass and flowers, introducing you to his Minish friends if you guys are back home.
- Love love loves picking you up. Tossing you over his shoulder, bridal style, perching you on his shoulder or arm. He’s incredibly strong, so picking you up is a breeze.
- Like I said in my Minish Headcanons post, I think Four would be about 5’3.
- I’ll just reiterate here lol.
- I headcanon Four is about 5’3? Which may seem a bit tall but Wind is about 14 and most 14 year old boys (averagely) are about 5’4-5’6 depending on a few factors. Four is noticeably shorter than Wind, so if we assume Wind is in the middle and is about 5’5, then we can assume Four is about 5’3. (If that makes sense lmao)
- So uh I guess if you’re 5’3 or below you two are vibing.
- You’d be vibing if you were taller too! He loves you no matter how tall you are.
- Despite loving picking you up, he kind of hates being picked up? He’ll like it during very specific circumstances, but he hates being plucked off the ground with no warning.
- Kissing! Let’s talk about it! Four is a very nervous kisser at first, not being very experienced with it. So at first they’re slow, a bit awkward, kind of messy.
- Then he gets used to it. His kisses start to range from quickly cupping your face for a chaste kiss, pecking your cheek/forehead/mouth before scurrying away when he’s busy, and (omg a bit spicy aaaah) pushing you up against the nearest surface to kiss you stupid.
- Eyelids get droopy, mouth slightly agape as he pants, staring at your mouth before making the most intense eye contact you’ve ever experienced.
- He’s good at what he learns, what can I say?
- Uuuuh let’s talk about his possessive tendencies shall we?
- The Minish in him and his four voices love you so much it hurts.
- Four gets jealous easy and is not willing to share you. He’s holding your hand in a death grip anytime there’s someone being the slightest bit rude, stepping in front of you with his sword already drawn when there’s danger, always making sure to go first when there could be loose boards on a rickety bridge or loose rocks in a cave ceiling.
- Four knows you’re capable! He knows more than anybody! He’d just…rather get crushed or fall into a river than see you hurt.
- He loves to cuddle, despite how touch starved this guy really is.
- Will not let go once he’s asleep. Death grip. Face buried in your shirt and arms locked around you like a vice.
- Loves when you play with his hair, just stroking it back with your nails and threading your hands through it.
- Will help you do your hair! If you have a specific updo or braids of some sort you want done then he’ll let you teach him so you don’t have to do it yourself.
- Holds your hand while you travel with the chain. Wind loves to run under your arms and see if you guys can dodge him.
- Legend doesn’t let up on the teasing.
- Turns into a fight when you tease him about Ravio.
- He says it’s “different” like bro quit bullshitting you’re gay like half the people here.
- Four splits into the colors when it’s absolutely necessary.
- The first time he split was during a difficult battle with you and him swarmed by a camp of bokoblins and separated from the rest of the chain.
- The two of you were holding your own, but the exhaustion was settling in and the two of you couldn’t go forever.
- He saw the determined fear in your eyes, a sudden slice cutting right under your eye, blood smearing into your skin.
- He watched you stumble, exhaustion evident, and split into four of himself.
- The rest of the monsters fell with ease.
- You stared at him- them. Covered in monster blood and panting.
- The red one immediately rushed over to you, cupping your face to inspect the wound, worrying and babbling over you while you blue-screened.
- The blue one angrily tugged him back, something about overwhelming you, but he must’ve been a hypocrite because he all but grabbed your chin to wipe the blood away with his thumb.
- The violet one looked you up and down, more sensual than worried. That sharp look in his eyes made you shiver.
- The green one pinched the bridge of his nose and furrowed his brow, expression softening when he saw how confused you were.
- He led you away from the monster corpses and the others followed.
- They sat you down on a tree stump, the red and blue one tending to you as the green one explained.
- Did you technically have four boyfriends??
- None of them really knew how to answer that. Maybe.
- Red, Blue, Green, and Vio.
- Welp. Your life was already pretty strange, what’s a few more strange circumstances??
- All of Four’s split selves are as madly in love with you as he is.
- Red enjoys cuddling, taking naps with you, exploring, holding your hands, and kissing the spot between your eyes.
- Blue lives to tussle with you, (it’s really just an excuse to be on top of you but shhhh) having you stand by while he works in the forge, linking arms so he can keep his hands in his pockets, and kissing your head.
- Vio loves to shop with you, dress you up, having an arm wrapped around your waist, you laying on top of him, and kissing your cheek. (Exaggerated MWAH and all)
- Green loves carrying you around, play arguing, sparring, doing household chores with you, sitting in comfortable silence with you, and kissing you on the mouth.
- You have specific days for each of them when they’re split up so no one feels left out, a day you hang out with all of them, and a day for yourself.
- Rest of the days are up for grabs, depends on who asks you what first.
- Cuddle piles are a must! There’s so many of them, it’s heaven when it’s cold out.
- Legs and arms tangled together, heads pressed into chests and backs, a pair of arms around your waist, a head against your shoulder, a hand intertwined with your’s.
- A very pleasant experience.
- They all have different dominant love languages.
- Red’s is words of affirmation. Tell him he’s the best boyfriend and how much you love and adore him. That guy will melt into a puddle of slush on the ground and be prepared to toss every compliment back at you.
- Blue’s is physical touch, going back to the tussling thing I mentioned. He loves pawing at you, holding your hand, wrapping his arms around you no matter where or when. The type to glare menacingly over your shoulder while snaking his arms around your waist.
- Vio’s is gift giving. He thrives off of knowing what you want. He notices the things you eye in stalls passing by, the things your hands linger on, how your eyes light up when you see something you really want. He’s also a part of Four that wants to see you in his clothes.
- Green is acts of service. You’ll never have to do anything, please let him help! He’ll make you the best sword possible, teach you how to use it, then never let you get 10 feet within a monster’s range. He always makes sure you’re fed, rested, just loves taking care of you and doing things for you.
- These four love you to hell and back.
